yesterday i went to the national cherry blossom festival is Washington D.C. since i live near Washington, going to down to the tidal basin of the Potomac river to see the sakura trees would be no problem. the weekend the trees were in full bloom and i go just about every year during this time. the weather was almost perfect too, it was kind of cold and windy in the morning when i got there, but it quickly get to warmer weather. i got some pretty good photos despite it being insanely crowded there, but it was one the peak days of the cherry blossoms so i expected it as much.
